Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore is a remarkable Hollywood actress and author Her talents have won her critical acclaim and recognition. Sagittarius. She was born in North Carolina, on 3rd December 1960. She's the eldest of the three children that were the children of Peter Moore Smith (a paratrooper) and Anne Smith who was a psychologist. She is of English-Scottish descent. Her father was a professional and moved her family a lot. She struggled with making or keeping her friendships. After her family relocated to Germany Moore went to Frankfurt American High School where she began appearing in plays. When she completed her B.F.A. at Boston University in 1983, Moore continued to pursue further studies. In 1983 she graduated with an B.F.A. Moore was a graduate of college with honors in New York and started her acting career off Broadway following her move into New York. Moore made her debut on screen in 1985 with an episode in the show The Edge of Night. In 1986 she was cast in the dual roles as Sabrina Hughes, and Frannie Hughes for As the World Spins. It was this role that gave her the opportunity to break through and brought her to success. She was on the show from 1988 to 1990 and was awarded a Daytime Emmy Award. Her debut movie appearance was Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. This film was later criticized as a poor low-budget production. Short Cuts, both produced by Robert Altman (1993), and 3 Women, also productions from Altman (1997) included among her works. Her role in critically acclaimed short-cuts (1993) brought her a number of nominations. Moore had her debut main role as a lead actress in Safe(1995). The actress' career took a turn after Steven Spielberg cast her to be the main character in Jurassic Park: The Lost World which became one of the top-grossing films in 1997. She starred in Magnolia (1999) and was critically acclaimed, and earned a SAG nomination for her part. The Hours was her co-starring role in 2002, and it earned nine Academy Award nominations along with Nicole Kidman. Moore was also in The Forgotten (2003), Freedomland (2005), Shelter (2010) along with a host of others. She was also in Non-Stop (2014). Moore has appeared in countless movies and TV series. Moore's most recent appearance as a leading actress is in the film When You Finish saving the World (2022). In Hollywood as well, she has become a published author for children. She published her first book Freckleface Strawberry in 2007 and became an N.Y.T. Best-seller, it was also adapted into series and a music. The author also released her book My Mom's a Foreigner in the year 2013. Moore lives a flamboyant life as a renowned actress and novelist. Moore was married to John Robin back in 1984 The couple split in 1996. Bart Freundlich, whom Moore then married in 2003 has two kids with her. Moore's world revolves around her colleagues, friends and family.
